RORY T. WEILER

As an experienced family law attorney and a long-time member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Attorney Rory Weiler understands the complex issues faced by Illinois lawyers. As 3rd Vice President of the ISBA, he will focus on building communities within the ISBA, promoting collaboration and cooperation with other bar associations, and helping attorneys understand the benefits of membership and the opportunities that are available to them.

Rory believes that the ISBA should be the representative of ALL Illinois lawyers, and he plans to work to promote the legal profession in the state through a variety of methods, including working with law school deans to provide students with more and better experience, promoting the benefits provided by ISBA Mutual, and partnering with local, minority, and specialty bar associations.

As 3rd Vice President of the ISBA, I will make it easier for attorneys to become aware of what the ISBA does to protect Illinois lawyers and help them enhance their practices professionally, practically, and socially.

With your help, I can work to ensure that the ISBA continues to represent the best interests of Illinois attorneys, provide essential member benefits, and encourage community involvement. By promoting ISBA membership and communicating with lawyers throughout Illinois, I will help ensure that the ISBA is relevant to the needs of all attorneys and continues to provide the resources that will help build communities and encourage collaboration among lawyers throughout the state.

	Build Better Practice Communities Encourage attorneys to participate in the ISBA, connecting them with each other by practice discipline and member identity through the use of modern technology.
	Promote the Value of the ISBA Enhance marketing to attorneys and communication with members to create better awareness of the benefits of ISBA membership.
	Work With ISBA Mutual Focus on the benefits that ISBA members can receive by insuring with the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company and increase participation in the Mutual.
	Add Large Law Firm Members Strengthen the ISBA base by creating opportunities for larger firms to become Mutual insureds.
	Promote Cooperation and Collaboration Partner with other local, specialty, and minority bar associations throughout Illinois to encourage diversity and learn how the ISBA can better serve our members.
	Be a Resource for Law Schools Work with law school deans to determine how the ISBA can help prepare students for practice and foster an environment for future ISBA membership.
